Who we are
Cloudbreak Incorporated ("Cloudbreak", "we", "us") is a business services company based at #1703, The Meridian by Avenir, Cebu City, Philippines 6000. We are the personal information controller for the personal data described in this policy.
This policy explains what personal data we collect through our website, cloudbreak.ph, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and issuances of the National Privacy Commission.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you send an inquiry through our contact form, we collect your first and last name, email address, the type of inquiry, and your message. Your phone number and company name are optional. If you call or email us directly, we receive the details you choose to share.
Information collected automatically. When you browse our website, Google Analytics collects information such as:
- the pages you visit, how long you stay, and how far you scroll
- whether you click our phone, email, or "Request a Demo" links
- whether an inquiry was sent successfully or could not be sent — never what you typed into the form
- your approximate location (city and country), device type, browser, operating system, and the website that referred you
Security and operations. Our hosting providers keep standard server logs — such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request — to operate the website securely and diagnose problems.
Spam and abuse protection. To tell people apart from automated programs, our contact form may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which evaluates technical signals from your browser and device when you submit an inquiry.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and discuss the services you asked about. We process this data because you requested it and to take steps you have asked for before any engagement with us.
- To understand and improve our website — for example, which pages are useful and where visitors run into problems. This is our legitimate interest in running an effective website.
- To protect our website and contact form from spam, fraud, and abuse. This is our legitimate interest in keeping our services secure.
- To comply with the law where we are legally required to keep or disclose information.
These purposes correspond to the lawful criteria for processing set out in Section 12 of the Data Privacy Act. We do not sell your personal data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use Google Analytics cookies to count visits and understand how our website is used:

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google Analytics does not set these cookies by default and instead collects limited measurements without them.
The map on our Contact page is provided by Google Maps, and Google may set its own cookies when it loads. We do not use advertising cookies, and Google's advertising features are turned off for our website.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics on every website with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Our website will continue to work if you do.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run our website and handle inquiries. They process personal data on our behalf and only for the purposes described here:

Loading fonts and maps from Google means your browser sends your IP address to Google when you view our pages. Each provider's own privacy policy also applies to its processing.
We may also disclose personal data when required by law, or when necessary to protect our rights, our clients, or the public.
Processing outside the Philippines
Some of our service providers operate servers outside the Philippines, including in Japan and the United States. When your personal data is processed by them on our behalf, we remain responsible for it, and we use providers that apply industry-standard safeguards to protect it.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and to manage any business relationship that follows, and are deleted when no longer needed for those purposes or for our legal obligations.
- Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for 14 months.
- Server logs are kept by our hosting providers for their standard, limited periods.
How we protect it
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) across our website, restrict access to inquiries to the staff who need to handle them, and use automated protections against spam and abuse. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable organizational, physical, and technical measures to protect your personal data.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- be informed about how your personal data is processed
- access the personal data we hold about you
- object to processing, including processing based on our legitimate interests
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
- have your data erased or blocked where the law allows
- obtain a copy of your data in a commonly used electronic format
- be compensated for damages caused by unlawful processing
- file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission

Our website links to other sites, such as our Facebook and LinkedIn pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.
Children
Our website is intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website or the law changes. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
